I know of a couple companies out there manufacturing some really slick looking Carbon Fiber Grips for the 1911 type pistols...

I'd really love to have a pair of Carbon Fiber grips on my Smith and Wesson 4013TSW (pre-frame rail). I don't like the checkering or the overall feel of the plastic wrap-around grips... If I had something a wee bit thinner with a smoother feel I would guarantee my groups would tighten up a bit.

So - any of you gents/ladies know if someone is manufacturing Carbon Fiber or even high-end wood grips for Smiths???

If this doesn't work I may have my friend in the racing industry make them in his shop in Texas... but until then...

:D

Did someone say 'carbon fiber'?

If you have a Billenium, they are factory grips. I have Carboncreations on my Elite II.

I've got a pair on my Colt Defender and I'd swear they were made just for this gun. The color in them almost perfectly matches the frame. Shooting with these grips offer no problems as well.
