I have three primary carry guns: XD-40 Service, XD-40 Subcompact and Kahr P9 Covert.
The XD-40 is my IDPA gun. When shooting matches, I usually carry it in a Blade Tech Stingray
The Stingray is not a great concealment holster, so I generally use a Fist Basic #12 pancake holster for OWB carry. I have no trouble concealing this gun in this holster under an unbuttoned box-cut shirt.
When I want something that prints a bit less and weighs a bit less, I move down to the XD-40 Subcompact, which I usually carry in a CrossBreed SuperTuck.
The SuperTuck also works very well with the Service, but the longer grip does not conceal quite as well. This is not usually a problem, given my love of box-cut shirts.
When the XDs are just too chunky, I sometimes carry the Kahr P9 Covert in a High Noon Split Decision. I am looking for a different IWB for this gun, because I find this holster to be less than comfortable. Suggestions are welcome.
My favorite mode of carry for the Kahr is pocket carry. I am currently using a Galco Pocket Protector, but am thinking about switching to something else.
At this point, I'm pretty happy with my carry guns and am done buying for awhile. The only thing I really need is a better IWB, a better pocket holster and possibly a nice OWB for the Kahr. Other than that, I think I'm set.
