I recently saw a carry vest that I liked in a magazine, mostly because it had a ton of pockets, but I am leery to say the least about buying one because A: I can conceal sans vest and B: Every concealed vest I have ever seen looks like, well, a concealed carry vest. However, it got me to thinking about why there aren't carry jackets. I don't have the magazing in front of me, but I think it was a Scott vest (although I may be totally wrong on that), and I really, really liked alot of the features that it had, specifically the number of unobtrusive pockets, to include a large number of pockets inside the vest, and I would buy one immediatly if only they made it in a light jacket, which I would find condsiderably more useful. Anyone know of jackets that would fit this bill?

Do you think a concealed carry vest looks like a concealed carry vest to someone outside the "gun culture?" That may be overrated.

Anyhoo, there are comparable jackets out there, just more expensive. For one example, the Duluth Trading Co. Presentation Jacket. Looks like a rumpled sportcoat but has 13 pockets and bi-swing shoulders to avoid bind in Isosocles stance.

Various yuppie mailorder houses have "travel blazers" with more than the usual number of pockets.
