I was reading the latest Blue Press magazine and saw an automatic casefeeder for the 550B. While it looks good, I don't want to shell out the $$$ if it's not as good as Dillon claims.

So, while I don't want to have a long extensize discussion which leads to nothing, does anyone have any "real" experience with this product.

I apologize if I'm sounding rude, I just want want this thread to be highjacked with senseless conversation.

Thanks

650 casefeeder

I have a 650 with casefeeder, i have to guess its the same for the 550.
I have had no issues with it at all, works as described.

However if i was making this decision, i would sell the 550 and get a 650.

there are 5 stations vs 4, and the price difference is not that much
difference between a 550 and 650.

Greetings,

I asked the same question on a few boards 2-3 months ago.
Bottom line: Case feeder works nicely with most of the pistol calibers except 9mm that some people had a few issues with head up instead of head down.

Price wise, you would have been better to have bought the 600 line, but for those who are already owners of 550B it is a nice upgrade if you want to improve your production.

Thank you
P.S.: Wow! I can begin to answer questions. I guess I am no longer a newbie...hehehehe

I load to many rounds to start all over again. I have the conversion kits for: 10mm; .357; .44; and .45.
I don't want to shell out the expense all over again.
