I'll be moving out west after college and I'd like to know which of the following states have castle doctrine: Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Idaho. Do any of these states have "duty to retreat" in public?
Also, is there anything I need to know about in these states regarding registration, purchase permits, NFA prohibitions, carry restrictions or anything else? I'm from Florida, so I'm used to no purchase permit or registration, NFA friendly, shall issue CWL, etc.
I realize that I'm looking for a lot of info here, so if anyone has a link to a comprehensive database of such information, I'd be very appreciative.
