Wheels guns always have and I guess will be a favorite of mine.

I've been interested in Uberti's replica cattleman's carbine.

The only thing I hesitate is having the stock on and the gun that close to my face.

Anyone have one and shot it? I know its not a rifle, just interested in something different.

Have one. Interesting gun. Don't worry about the gun close to your face. It is only slightly closer than extended at a two hand hold. BUT...you must keep both hands on the pistol grip. Don't try to hold the barrel with the opposite hand like you would a rifle.
Fun gun. Not very practical, slower to operate and less mag capacity than a pistol caliber lever action carbine, and harder to shoot as well to boot. But they attract a lot of attention at re-enactments. You can holster it too, if you have an open toed holster.
