Hello everybody! I just went to six flags on saturday and i had a great time But i was wondering a few things standing in line at the front gate.
On the sign they said no weapons of course, but after that they said if you are an off-duty police officer to sign in at the guest relations area (meaning off-duty LEO's can carry in the park)
If that is the case, and you were carrying a handgun, would it be possible to ride any roller coasters? Jolting around and bumping against the ride may damage the firearm, but do people still do this? Would it be considered unsafe to CCW while on any rides that jerk you around?
lastly on a semi-unrelated sidenote, i have a very tiny knife (about 1 inch) that i keep in my pocket at all times. I walked through the metal detector and got scanned and everything but i didn't have to empty my pockets. Even if i did get caught with that, could i get in any trouble? Theres no inch limit for knives in kentucky, and i figured the worst they could do is say "either it goes, or you go". Was i right?
Thanks again everybody!
