There was another school shooting on the news recently- this time with a .22 caliber handgun. I was lamenting about news reporting, wondering if Maryland local TV news would even consider carrying a different kind of story, about how someone with a CCW saved the life of another citizen. So this got me to thinking: are there many documented cases of US citizens with CCW who have saved a life? I would assume many lives have been saved in self denfense; just wondering if there are many "newsworthy" stories about an armed citizen who saved someone innocent from being injured or killed.

Fewer than 1000 justifiable homicides per year with firearms. The MSM won't get too fired up over anything less than a killing. They seem to get more fired up over the possibility of blood in the streets than real-life experience of defensive gun use.

Earlier this summer, a customer in a Wal-Mart store shot and killed a man that was trying to kill his wife with a knife. The wife was an employee, the husband jumped the counter and started stabbing the wife. Customer saw the attack and shot the husband. Do a search and you should find it.

The defensive use of firearms by mere commoners is inconsistent with the leftist extremist "news" media's socialist agendy.
