Quick question here. How can you tell which company made the Charles Daly Hi Power?

Word from C-D is that FEG made the parts, which were fitted by Magnum Reserch.

The parts were manufactured by FEG in Hungary, and assembled by either Dan Wesson, or Magnum Research. If the serial number starts with a HP than it was assembled by Dan Wesson. Only 500 were produced, and than they switched over to Magnum Research. So- Parts are from Hungary, and it's assembled in the U.S. -wikianswers

they used to sell for under 300, but not any more. pity.

I read an article written by CD's President. It stated that the parts were from FEG after they went bankrupt. CD looked for a company to build them. Dan Wesson began building them, but when they went belly up and was purchased by CZ, CD began looking for another company. They found another company to build them. However, they were soon taken over by Magnum Research.

So, I'm curious as to whether my CD "FEG" Hi Power is made by Dan Wesson or Magnum Research.
