Ok I've been wanting a .22 revolver for a while and some reason other then a few High Standards I never see a used one for sale.

I should have brought that High Standard instead of that S&W model 10 as my first gun.

Anyway I read a few reviews awhile back on Charter arms Pathfinder and I find the ideal of a .22 snubnose to be neat and it's made of stainless steel.

So who has one? And how do you like it? I'm wanting opions on the new models since that is most likely what I will be buying. But are the older one worth buying if I can get one rather cheap?

I have owned one for about 20 years. It has adjustable sights, decent accuracy and I have had no problems with it. It sat in the safe for years until a couple of years ago when my son brought it to my attention. I ran many bricks of ammo through it before it sat neglected in the safe. Since my son "discovered" the revolver it has run through plenty more bricks under his trigger finger. Still good accuracy and no problems. Mine is of the stainless steel version.

Thanks. If I run across a used one for sale what is a good price?

I saw one for sale recently that was pristine for $249. It was like new in the box. I'm sure the seller would have come down some on the price with a little negotiating. I almost started the negotiating but resisted and moved on.

Was this the old model or the new one? From I understand quite a few people have the older model and never or rarly have shot them.
