So I bought into this panic to get a Hunter type 1, with milled receiver and aperture rear sight, by Polytech or Norinco Factory 386, in 7.62x39, unmodified. The gun technically is an AK sporterized variant with 20 inch barrel. Judged from the spotless gas piston, bolt head and other internal parts, the rifle has been shot very little or not at all. The dark wood hand guard and buttstock show their age on the surface (no cracks or scratches) and wobbled a little, and after the screws tightened, they were tight fit.

So my questions are: 1) does the wood furniture after 20 some years shrink, or just the screws were loosend? 2) With only oval-circled "386" stamped on the receiver, is it a Polytech or Norinco? 3) What is the market value for this gun?
