Well, I was able to talk the Mrs into letting me go out and play with my new toy, my new MagnetoSpeed v1.

The chrony came in a regular cardboard box with foam inside (easy enough to get a good case.

The chrony looked and felt sturdy. It was super easy to strap on and get going. I think i had it on the barrel and ready to go in about 30-45 seconds after getting my target setup and back to the bench.

After putting on the bayonet, it appears like it is right in the line of fire, but after looking down the barrel and trying to see it, it was completely out of the line of fire. Now I've never shot over any other chronographs, so I can't compare them to anything else, or how my loads read over another chrony. I shot over it using my .308 off of a bipod. I also shot over it using my 7mm RM and my daughters .223 off a bag, and both ways worked great. Nothing ever got in the way.

It was super easy to archive a load onto the 2gb memory card that comes with it in order to move to another string of fire. Once I got home, the card was loaded into the adapter, put into the computer, and the results came up perfect. Easy to read and already in a excel sheet.

All in all, a super easy device to use for a beginner like me. I say anyone can pick it up and use it with no problems at all. Two thumbs up!!!

If I had to give it a negative, the only thing would be the price. Its not the cheapest, but there was no having to set up downrange, and making sure you had it lined up. No shooting it! :) Great device!
