Hello everyone I'm new to this forum and would like to say It's a great resource.

My brother and I discovered two .22 cal rifles in an old shed from some purchased land.

The CIL Model 125 I've disocovered from this forum that it is in fact the Anchutz 184.

However I can not find any information regarding the Model 300 we found or what corresponding Anchutz model it is. Its quite unique in design and could be semi-automatic.

I have both serial numbers, is there anywhere i can look them up to find some history and value? The magazines are missing and the stock on the 300 is broken so i'd like to look up some parts as well.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Jesse.

From a Canadian website this same question was asked an an answer was "Apparently the CIL/ANSCHUTZ 300 semiauto .22 and the CIL/ANSCHUTZ 470 semiauto .22's are the same with some minor cosmetic changes, the 470 has a different bolt handle and an added shell deflector." And the CIL 470 is a ANSHUTZ model 520/61.

Thanks for the info Bearman! And when you say its an Anschutz model 520/61 is that actually the model or are you saying both models 520 and 561?

And steve im working on posting pictures, although unfortunately I'm suddenly having problems with my digital camera, i can't copy the files to my computer :(. I will get back to you when I've figured out what's wrong with it.
