I'm interested in getting a reproduction Model 92, I'm thinking either the "El Dorado' model or the saddle ring carbine to pair up with my reproduction 45 single six. I've done some research and weighing everything out I think I want a Cimarron. My primary use of this gun would be to have a rifle in my scabbard while out riding horses or to set in the gun rack of my pickup. I am looking at the large loop lever with some image of me twirling the gun to load it, but also using my Winchester Model 94 with a standard size lever, I think I'd like the larger lever in the long run. After doing some research I think I'd like the Cimarron over the other brands, I checked one out at the store and liked it best out of all of them. I've heard on the internet though some horror stories about customer service and quality of the work though. I know well that the rifle would be a imported replica, from most likely Italy, but I am okay with that becasue my sixgun is also an Italian replica. I'm okay buying a replica for now until I become rather wealthy and get my great-uncle's Colt 44-40 repaired and find a authentic Winchester model 92 in 44-40 to pair up. I appolagize for writing such a story here, but I feel that this way those who reply will know what all options I am weighing. Thanks for all of your input, I appreciate it!
