Coffee table gun storage

On my coffee table you just lift the top with two fingers, it's spring loaded, and it will come up. Takes only a second. I have not only a gun but my checkbook and other miscellaneous stuff in it.

Opinions differ, but you have to admire whoever thought up that lock puzzle.

I agree with the thought put into the combo lock. But, in the video, for all I know, someone stole the table, figured it out in a desolate place, and posted it on youtube.
Now if it had been a solid cabinet, with nice finish, bolted down with valuables in it, then that would have been a smart execution.

My EDC is a 24" barreled 7-08,1-4x20 Leupold.When I'm in the living rm,it's on full display in a late 18th century Black cherry drop front desk.Cause,I like looking at both....doh.Someone comes over,flip the writing table part up....done.

Really cool, but I got to admit after all those locks I was disappointed to see 2 tiny little Rugers.

Yep, I was expecting at least some cap and ball revolvers.
