Collapsible stock on Mossberg 590a1.

I own a Mossberg 590a1 with a collapsible stock and wanted to remove it. Does anyone know how?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say there is a hex-headed bolt that holds it on at the back of the receiver.
There's a blown-up diagram somewhere I'm sure...

You have to loosen the castle nut on the stock tube, then screw the stock tube off.
Under / inside there is the bolt that holds the rest of it & the pistol grip to the receiver.

i loosened the castle nut but i couldn't then get the stock off. i could only mov it a little bit.

Does it have a sling swivel stud screwed into the side of the pistol grip?

If so, take it out and try again.
