Colorado: Legislation to Repeal Magazine Ban Passes Senate

I thought about posting this in the rifle or activism forums, but this is more of a legal issue. If this is the wrong forum, please move this to where it is more appropriate. Thank You.

Legislators in Colorado passed SB 113, this bill would repeal the 15 round magazine limit that was signed into law in 2013. SB 113 passed the Senate 20 - 13 and now it goes to the House for a committee referral.

If you live in Colorado, and want to see the 15 round magazine limit repealed. Please contact your Representatives and tell them to pass this bill.

"In 2013, the Colorado Legislature restricted the ability of law-abiding gun owners to protect themselves by limiting the amount of ammunition a firearm magazine can hold. This arbitrary limit does nothing more than hinder the lawful right to self-defense of Coloradans because criminals do not follow the law.

Again, please contact your state Representative and urge them to SUPPORT Senate Bill 113 when it comes up for a vote. You can contact your Representative by clicking the “Take Action” button above."

Even it passes in both houses of legislature. Gov. Hickenlooper would never sign it into law. He'd veto it.

About the only way I see the magazine law repealed is if we elect a conservative governor. And I don't see that happening.

There are a lot more liberals living in the big cities of the front range than there are conservatives living in the small towns, farms and ranches in the rest of the state.

Time to vote Hickenlooper out except liberal stoners flooding into Colorado for legal weed why it's called DOOE

The opposition needs to put up a decent candidate that has statewide recognition and none of the character flaws of those in the past.
Colorado could have had pro gun Governors in the past but voter apathy was strong.
