I won a 1917 45 ACP revolver on gun broker in the form of parts, great price just missing a bolt screw and many others lol. I can't seem to find on for sale on ebay or any parts website I have used before. Does any one have one that could give dimension's of the screw and the thread TPI so I could make a screw myself. Thanks THR

Jack First manufacturers new exact replicas of New Service bolt screws.

The only fitting that might be needed is if the bolt is loose with the new screw and has side to side movement.
This does require a special small end mill hand with a guide on the end to cut a slight shallow cut in the frame around the bolt screw to tighten the fit.
If you have a lathe it can be done by trimming off the shoulder of the screw itself to tighten the fit but that's very fine work.

To work correctly the Colt bolt can't have any side to side movement or timing will be off and not correctable.

The mill tool is shown in the Jerry Kuhnhausen Shop Manual Volume One on the Colt DA revolvers.
This is a pistolsmith's training manual and shows all Colt work to factory standards.
It doesn't specifically cover the New Service, but the same work as used on the small and medium frames also applies.

This would be a very smart thing to buy if you're working on a Colt.
