Colt Delta Elite 10mm

I purchased a new Colt Delta Elite 10MM 10 years ago. I have only fired 50 rounds and have a poblem with the casing not being ejected all the way and jamming the slide. I have tried different ammo to no avail. Any thoughts?

need more info. what kind of ammo? is it a stovepipe jam?

1911 10mm's need the right ammo+recoil spring weight combo to function properly more so than glock 10mm's.

also could also be as simple as a bad extractor.

Probably very tight and needs to be shot in a little to loosen it up. Try two hundred rounds then clean and then two hundred more.

I notice that this is the first post so far for Chrlybrown. I can't help but think that we are being tested on how we treat people who are not as "into" guns as we are. Perhaps we should just give straight answers to questions like this instead of the joke remarks about sending it to us.

Fifty rounds, and various brands?! I would run a couple of boxes of any one brand of FMJs before even cleaning it. As noted, the extractor may be improperly machined. We really need more details.
