Im looking at a potential trade , for a NIB. new production
3 inch barreled Colt King Cobra 357 Mag
high polish stainless steel .... Action seems smooth, trigger good .... Frame seems to be a beefed up D frame .. reminds of a six shot SP101

I hadn’t heard alot bout this revolver
Any input would be appreciated

I’m assuming it’s a new production King Cobra. The one I had was a solid gun. My only complaint was the chambers were tight, it did not like my reloads.

If not under spec, and throats are not over sized, that's not necessarily a bad thing, might just need to tighten up the reloads.

I bought one around Thanksgiving to sort of round out my 3” barrel 357 magnums. Excellent trigger in both single and double action, may be a tad better than the Kimber. Dead on accurate and comfortable to shoot. I’ve had no extraction issues with all factory ammo, 38 special, 38+p, and 357 . It’s not the tank that the Smith 686 plus is but really glad to have it. Several of my shooting friends want me to write them into my will for the Colt. I did buy a set of Altamont wood grips. The rubber is very thin and comfortable and even has the Colt logo on it. That said, any $850 handgun of mine will have nice wood grips.

Not really on topic, but something I just noticed is the trigger guard of your Colt appears to be opened up more that the S&W and Rugers and more conducive to wearing gloves.

Thanks for that photo.
