I got offered a good-looking deal for a Colt .22lr.

For what i and the seller know, the gun is only .22 long rifle, not the WMR convertible.

What is there to know about in this gun?
What kind of accuracy it is capable of?

They're good guns and the New Frontier has the distinction of being built on a steel frame, unlike many of the fixed sight models. They're better finished than a Ruger but overall, the Single Six is probably a better gun.

They were made in Germany by the company that made them for companies like FIE, but wit the pony stamp. They are pretty much the same quality as the Heritage 22 single actions. I have two that are not Colts, they make good plinkers.

The New Frontier is definitely a lot better gun than the Heritage. I don't think they should carry a collector premium like they do but they're definitely better guns. The advantage to the New Frontier and Peacemaker .22 is that they have color case hardened steel frames. Personally, I'd send an Old Model Single Six to Turnbull before I'd pay a bunch of money for one of the Colt's. In fact, that's a good idea!
