Do my eyes deceive me?
The cones on the 5 inch appear to be closer together than the ones on either the 4 inch or the 6 inch.
Might it be a six chambered pocket?

Do you know if the folks who owned the 4 inch model used any kind of a “cheater” to lengthen that little ramming lever and make seating the ball easier, or were they just tougher than us?

They were tougher, no doubt. Don't know about a cheater bar. Desperads Bullets sells an aluminium one though.

Fingers,

Does the five inch have a dove tailed rear sight on the barrel near the forcing cone?
If so may we see more and how do you like that sort of sight compared to the notch in the hammer?

You have a good eye kBob. It does have a rear sight dovetailed into the barrel. I've not shot it, so i can't comment on how it shoots. My Man With No Name conversions have rear sights that work very well. No reason to think the rear sight on a pocket model wouldn't. Here's a picture of the sight
