Colt Series 70: Worth It?

I don't have a 70 series to compare my 80 series to, but Colt's current production (the last 10 years let's say) is as good as, or better than, anything they had put out in the previous 40 years.

Rock Island guns are not in the same quality league as Colt and Springfield Army. R.I. have cast frame whereas Colt and S.A. frames are forged steel. It makes a big difference if you decided to customize your gun with an action job and adding aftermarket parts.

I have bought their rail gun (series 80) obviously I feel they are worth buying. Good quality reliable gun.
