Compound Bow Advice

can anyone help me out with compound bow information?

my wife wants a bow for target shooting for her Christmas gift this year
I know she needs a 29 inch draw length and about a 40-50lb pull (preferably the lower end of that maybe a 30-40) she wont be taking any game with the bow so no need for the extra fast speeds or heavy pull weights
here's what she was looking for

29 inch draw
40-50lb draw or 30-40lb
she likes the look of parallel limbs but not an absolute need
price somewhere under $400 without accessories arrows etc (but that would be a plus)

I would love to find a local shop here in Delaware but I cant seem to find any so if anyone knows of one please let me know

unfortunately I don't know much about bows since I haven't shot one in about 15 years and a lot has changed since then any help is appreciated

I bought my 23 year old daughter a High Country bow with all accesories from eBay for $85. Lightly used. Then spent another $45. to have the bow fitted to her draw length. The bow and hip quiver are crimson red; she loves it.

Parellal limbs are the current fad but older bows shoot straight and fast too.

Other top names in archery include Bear, Martin, Hoyt, and PSE.

I hate to say it, but shop around. I know I am fortunate to live where I do and not everyone has access to more than one archery shop. But I would suggest vsiting different shops and asking the staff to make recomendations and if the place has an indoor range (like Bass Pro and Gander Mountain in Central Florida and several shops in my specific area) let her try some.

I live fairly close to old Bear factory and the new Easton complex which specializes in archery and is an archery olympic training center(imagine that).

Bows are a big deal in Central Florida so there are a lot of very good archers about. I am not one of them.

I don't shoot a bow but to just occassionally humble myself.

Kbob that would be a great idea except the closest gander mountain is a few hours away same with dicks sporting goods... and cabelas well I have to plan a weekend for that lol... my main problem is most of the archery stores locally are pro shops that specialize in the top of the line stuff from major players like hoyt matthews and bowtech (read $700+ just for the bow)
