Conceal Carry Weapon Selection: What Matters and What Doesn't

I have a full size CZ 75B in 40, and a holster for it. Nice gun, but I don't carry it. Large and heavy.

I don't like to wear pants which are a size over, and don't wear big ol gun belts. I just don't wear big ol pants much.

Thus, I just got a PM9, which in some cases may even go in a pants pocket. (If it is pleated). It is small, doesn't print so much, and is light. Less rounds is also good here. Also, the only folks I have met, who had to draw a weapon did not have to shoot it. Thus, haveing 7 rounds is better than NOT carrying.

SIZE matters to me - and the PM9 has a decent caliber.

Now, we'll see if she and I work together.

So in your experience what factors matters most for overall comfort for IWB carry.

Slim profile with curved edges. Shorterened, single stack grip. No safeties, decockers or cocked hammers. Aluminum frame. Barrel length doesn't matter, but 5" will make it more difficult to draw.

Smith used to make some fine examples back in the 90's and early 00's. Sig still does, but they are a bit blockier.
