I am wanting to start reloading for 223 since I just got an AR and have a feeling it will be hungry.
I want to go with the Lee Classic Turret Press (4 slot) and have the powder measure in one of the slots.
1) does the Lee Pro Auto disk work on this press or is it just for a progressive type press?
2) Should I save the 20 bucks and just get the standard Auto disk measure?
3) I assume I need the Lee Rifle charging die and the Auto Disk Riser to clear the Safety primer feeder - correct?
I have read on a few posts that the RCBS x-dies are the way to go to avoid trimming brass so I will probably go that way.
So in my turret I will have: a) RCBS X-sizer die to size/deprime b)Lee powder charging die with the powder measure above it c)RCBS seating die
What am I missing? Is the RCBS set a 2 die or 3 die set? If 3, what are the dies?
Sorry for the basic questions, just want to make sure I get this right.
Thanks for the help!
