I plan to go to the range this weekend and bust a couple hundred caps and celebrate this ruling.....

In the most important Supreme Court decision of the
decade, District of Columbia v. Heller, a majority
of justices ruled today that the Second Amendment
(http://PatriotPost.US/histdocs/constitution/bill_of_rights.asp) is
indeed constitutional. Not only that, but they reaffirmed that the
right to keep and bear arms is an individual right, and that the
District of Columbia's ban on handguns is unconstitutional.

As you are a Canadian, you would have a special appreciation for this globally unique affirmation of an individual right. The "Land of the Free" still have some meaning. Sadly, the Commonwealth countries succumbed to Socialism over the last couple of decades, your fine country included.

I would not stop at the most important decision of the decade, I would say of the century. The voices of our forefathers were heard today. Look at the way each justice voted. Every one of the Clinton or other liberal appointed judges voted to negate the will of our founders. This is the most important election in this country for the last 100 years. If anyone here wants to lose the rights of freedom, and march down the red carpet of socialism, then don't go vote. Otherwise get your fanny down and get registered, and go vote for the only conservative voice left, even if it is a weak one. He is the only barrier between us and tyranny at this point. This is no joke. If Hussien Obama is allowed to appoint even one judge, you WILL see this come back in front of the Supreme court, and we WILL lose our God Given right of self protection from a tyranical government.

God Bless America and God Bless George Bush for putting those conservative judges in there. He's staved off the commies for a little while longer. But be vigilant and VOTE as was said above. Those commies are looking for any opportunity to steal more of your freedom and money as they can.

McCain may not be my favorite prospect, but he's said he'll put constitution leaning judges in there and he's always been pro-gun in his voting, which is where it counts. That other candidate would likely sell us out to the communists and to the UN if he gets a chance.

I'm gratified over the decision, but I still don't trust the SOBs.

As my way of celebrating the decision, I stayed at the reloading bench for three hours last night cranking out more ammo--will do the same tonight.

My fear is the anti's will go after ammo and components . . . which is why I continue to stockpile.
