Im thinking about selling my HK P30 and getting a Dan Wesson PM7. Just looking for some opinions on if this is wise or not, or if I should just save up and get it later and keep the HK. After shooting my CZ some more the ploymer just doenst feel as good to me anymore. I still like it, just not as much. I have 8 Mags for it as well, anyone have an idea on what to ask for it? It has approx 500 rounds through it, 3 of the mags are brand new.

This is one of those I-can't-believe-I-sold-that-gun stories that will be heard on forums all over the WWW in years to come.

Don't get me wrong. I'm saving for a DW PM7 myself. But that HK is one of the finest 9mms on the market today. 15+1, reliable, accurate, light weight, and top of the line quality.

But like the Count elluded to, if you want to sell that particular weapon, you'll have PLENTY of buyers.

Keep them both!

Yea, your probably right. I have quite a bit into it and would probably end up losing money anyways. I would need roughly 850 for it and I would still be losing money

I thought I wanted to sell my HKP30

Put it on Gunbroker and had my inbox full of inquires. I thought...what am I thinking....looked on GB to see how many I found for sell...at that time, only mine. I canceled that auction before receiving any bids and glad I did.

KEEP THE HKP30...save for your CZ. Just my humble but very accurate opinion.:)

Well

The HK is not an heirloom/collectible, and isn't likely to become one either.

If you don't like it that much, sell it and buy something you do and don't feel bad about it.

$700 maybe a bit more for the gun assuming it is in nice shape
$30-$35 each for the extra mags.

CDNN is selling them new for $749 with free shipping. (When they have them in stock)

I swear by mine, and have been looking for a P30L to keep it company in the safe for almost 6 months now!

There are a couple on hk pro right now for 700 with 4 mags. I would think I could get 800ish for it. Its mint condition and I have 4 more mags. Im gonna have to think about it.

Don't do it..I'm trying to sell a USPc.40 right now because I need the extra cash. I'm more of a Glock/XD guy, but I still don't want to let this gun go. It's only been at the range twice and it's a wonderful shooting gun. H&K really knows how to make a pistol. Keep your H&K!!

Oh yea, one more thing. That P30 you own holds 15+1. HIGH CAPACITY!! With the big O just being elected, your gun may be unobtainable by this time next year.
Food for thought.

If you don't need the money right now, and you still like shooting the gun, I would say keep it for awhile longer. That way you still can go on using it, and then down the road, if you find something else which you want more than the P-30, then you can make the decision on whether to sell it or not. But for now, I would hang on to it.
