My 6 year old daughter started with a Henry Mini-bolt just like above. Great gun, works well and has an extremely good trigger from the factory. I would strongly recommend it.

Besides it is exceptionally safe!

My 7 yr old son shoots an old Hamilton I picked up for $35 on gunbroker. It's about the same size f the cricket, but MUCH cheaper. My10 yr old shoots a Springfield 22 thats old but shoots great. They shoot these when the M-1 carbine ammo dries up for the 7 yr old & the 250 Savage ammo dries up for the 10 yr old

Cz Scout anyday!

My 7yr old can put 5 shots in the bottom of a coke can all day long at 100yds with his scout. His rifle made me buy a CZ 452 American for myself!
