Who has an opinion? I have a set of Lee dies with a factory crimp die. I've been crimping and found it doesn't take much to deform bullets without a cannelure. Is there a real advantage to crimping non cannelure bullets for the AR? Besides the deformation, it's really hard to pull bullets (inertia puller) when working up loads and finding I've loaded past the pressure limit.

Thanks.

You don't need to crimp. No serious match shooter that I know ever crimps. The bullets will stay where they're supposed to be unless the rifle itself has a problem.

I say take that die and put it somewhere and forget about it.
