I was thinking of driving down to the Crossroads of the West Gun Show, which is in Tuscon this weekend. Anyone know if it's worth the time? That is, is it more than a glorified flea market, with only a few tables of firearms, surrounded by 100's of tables of "arts & crafts"?

I went to the one in Phoenix several weeks back, and almost spent more money on Girl Scout cookies than I did gun related items. :) Anyway, this time I have some specific firearm related purchases I'm looking to make. (And I'm out of cookies, and need to restock.)

Thanks for any info.

Carry on!

Just got back from there. They have two buildings running at this show. I'd say 60 tables with the majority of them guns and hardware. Prices were ok. Lot of XD 45 Tactical packages available to which I almost purchased.

Came out of there with a Glock tactical light for my G20 and some reload ammo boxes. Other than that, it was one of the better shows.

Thanks for the reply

An XD 45 is one of the items I'm looking for. I'm also looking for reloading equipment. But mostly I'm looking for stuff to support my new (to me) Marlin lever gun. I don't know what, exactly - I just feel like buying gun stuff. :)

It sounds smaller than the Phoenix show, but still seem like it will be worth a nice Sunday drive.

Well, I'm hittin' the sack so I can get an early start...

Quite a bit of reloading gear at this one as well. Lots of brass, powders and accessories. Also, the XD 45's were going for $539 from what I can see. Don't jump on the first one you see, walk around and see where the best deal is.
