Hi guys, I bought this pistol back in February and took it home in March. The grips were poor quality and started to crack during shooting!
Well, I'm not fretting, because I was going to do some custom wood grips anyway, because in my opinion, wood looks better on autos anyway.
I removed the crappy grips from the pistol today, took em into the LGS that I frequent 100% of the time now, and told them what I want.
Ebony hard wood, with a recess worked in so my thumb could reach the mag release better. The guy who does them is going to give me a call tomorrow to finalize the details, and then he's going to start on them. Not sure how long or how much yet, but I can't wait to see what they look like when they're done, with a nice lacquered finish.
While we're waiting, how about we post some pictures of your guys' custom grips for your pistols?
