Stated correctly its been 100 since Czechs have been free from Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Right back at ya, Snejdarek. Are you going to be the recipient of one of those fantastic looking pistolas? :)

I didn't put that one into my purchasing plans so I will let this one slide.

Judging by what they did with the Anthropoid limited edition, many of them will be probably given to VIP pro-gun politicians, businessmen, actors, etc. Anthropoids went for € 3.000 a pop so 100 Independence will probably be around € 4.000...

BTW The president's wife has concealed carry license and apparently she carries a revolver. If I were in CZ's PR department, she would certainly be the first person to receive one.

Athropoid....the british were afraid RH would come to power and the war would last longer, therefore, they convinced members of Czechoslovak Government in exile to eliminate him. Naturally the people of Chechoslovakia paid the price. Nothing new for the british as they fought for their independence to last Polish soldier and later to last Greek soldier. When they ran out of Europeans to fight for them they turned to USA. This evidenced by the fact that winston churchill spoke to US Congress three times a record unbeaten until time of B. Netanyahu.
I am glad today Czechs have competent government as evidenced by: ability of Czechs to bear arms, no foreign troops on their soil, <2% of GDP spent on defense and sending few troops on NATO adventures.

I didn't know about Anthropoid. Thank you for the link.

What's shown above looks to be worth about 1500 euro. Perhaps if you can wait another 51 years to reach 100 years of Czech independence it will be worth 4000. The good news if you continue electing competent politicians like you are now your country will survive.

I like the adornments very much, especially the grips and Czech coat of arms. However, the engraved vine and leaves makes it look cluttered. IMO it would look better without the foliage.

Snejdarek

And a Happy Czech Independence day to you! A fine looking CZ 75 with tasteful engraving along with gold inlays and plating which go quite nicely with the blued finish. Thanks for sharing that with us!
