Cz 75 trigger return spring issue real?

Thanks Walt for the info. Good to know that they were addressed. I am assuming that you are implying that my new CZ 75 Compact is reliable enough for carry.

It is fast becoming my favorite pistol. And I would really like to be able to CC it with confidence.

In fact, I just relaxed the factory plastic grips with thin Look grips! Will plan to start carrying it.

The trigger return spring in the CZ compacts was (and I assume still is) the same spring as was used in the full-size gun. The fact that most of the problems were with compact CZ in the 90's is probably due to the luck of the draw (i.e., when guns get produced), as compacts were new and quite popular. And that bunch of guns got the new supply of springs (which just didn't hold up.)

(I noticed in my prior reply that I tried to write that Wolff developed an extra-strength extractor spring, but obviously wrote something that just didn't come out right. Duh.)

I've never been a big fan of the compacts, but had only "Compact" models, which have steel frames. I wanted an alloy-framed model with safety, and they didn't make them, back when I was really into CZs. (They do, now, but I have a P-07, which is compact enough for me, and much lighter than steel. The compact CZs are probably the most popular CZs if you're not shooting in the gun games.
