Disappointed that I waited so long to get one!

Purchased an NIB 85B (thanks Omega) and finally got a chance to degrease it and take it to the firing line yesterday.
I loaded the first mag with 5 rounds of WWB and set the target at 7 yards. Then THIS happened:

About 15 years ago I had a pre B CZ 75 but I don't recall it shooting like this. I spent several hours at the range and put about 200 rounds of various ammo through (including some +P) the 85 without a single malfunction.

This one is definitely a keeper.

I understand the happiness. I have a 75BSA ... anytime I feel down about my shooting I take it out and become "good" again. These area ver yfine guns, and that price from Omega was unreal...congrats on a great deal and gun!

Happiness is a warm CZ.
I know exactly what you speak of - I shot my Dept POST qualification series at the local indoor with a brand new out of the box CZ PCR, and scored a "possible". CZs ROCK!

Oh, the horror! It groups all of half an inch to the left! It's a piece of junk! You'll never be happy with it! I volunteer to take it off your hands at absolutely no cost to you! Send it to me before you lose anymore sleep! :D

I could live with groups like that. Would you consider that MOF (minute of felon)? CZs are disgustingly accurate right out of the box anyway, you just have to get used to small groups, I have.

Wow... Nice shootin'! Do they make the 85B in stainless? I'm a lefty and want one bad... but really would like a stainless model if possible.
