cz action opinions PLEASE

My understanding is that the over-all length of a 338 Win Mag cartridge allows it to be chambered up off a 30/06 length action.
As applies to the CZ 550 then, action only, one would want to purchase a 30/06 length action but with a magnum boltface?
Or would the bolt face have to be opened up on the shorter length bolt?

If the CZ isn'tt available in .338, it's my understanding that the best solution (regardless of brand) is to get a 7mm or .300 Mag, so that the bolt face is correct. You can then have a .338 barrel installed with out having to do any bolt face cutting or magazine work.
