In looking on their website, the rates of twist seem slow, especially for the 30-06 with a 1 in 12 inch twist. Do any of you have one with rate of twist? Does it shoot 180 grain bullets well, or do you see some instability issues with that rate of twist?

Zak Smith says he's shot 190s in a .308 win with a 1 in 12 twist with no problems, so it definitely won't be an issue there. Now as for 220s and 240s, I dunno. The typical 220s aren't particularly long-for-weight, so I'd bet they be fine too. All-copper 190s or lead 240s, I doubt you'd get good results, but not sure.

I've actually shot 210 Bergers in my 1:12, but it was kind of pointless. At high altitude, we can get away with more lax twist rates-- just watch out when you go to sea level (or the weather gets cold). If you need a heavy bullet but it's not stabilizing, find one that is shorter and more blunt. It will have more moment of rotational inertia and will stay stabilized better than a long, pointy bullet.

not that CZ doesn't care, but they don't. No , really... they tend to be a bit more classic, in the constructs, and that includes twist. That is not to say, you cannot get a 550 or 750, with a couple of special runs that they made, or make now and again, with a faster twist, or heavy bbl. , or tact/varmint stock.
It's just they don't come up as much with them.
But then again, they put so much more attention on the tolerances of the bbls, i believe, that a 1/12 twist works good for them, and for most peeps who shoot them.
