Here I have a 75 in .40 and had one of the original CZ guns the turk army over runs in 9mm from hmm years ago and good guns. My only gripe is try to get a .357 barrel for one.

I like my 3 CZ guns.
But I prefer the metal framed guns

I love the metal framed guns too! My S2O and TS2O are simply stunning. I just can’t believe the bargain that the P-09 is though. A ready-for-battle DA/SA pistol with 19+1 capacity and a highly accurate cold hammer forged barrel for $400? Eat your heart out, HK!

People should be aware that a lot of these -- Gen 1 and 2 P07 and P09 -- went out with bad roll pins which break and seize the firing pin when dry fired even a small amount.

It's not a very noticeable failure until you try to fire the first time.

Something to either fix with a different pin or keep an eye on if used as a carry gun.

Good point, ExtremeSquared. I understand as well that the guns are to be fired with something to buffer the firing pin. CZ provides a “snap cap”with removable green inserts for dry-firing. Many seem to use an o-ring or a piece of earplug wedged over the firing pin. CGW and perhaps others offer an upgraded pin that apparently eliminates the problem. I have one going in to mine when I can get around to the trigger/hammer work.

I like mine alot. Put the CGW's spring kit in. At our 100 yard line I can hit a 14 inch plate pretty regularly, not every time but enough to know it's not a fluke. Brother in law liked it so much he went out and bought one himself.

I popped the CGW parts in today and hit the range. The DA is now a hair under 7lbs and the SA is 3.3. Right on. The Dawson Precision sights are big improvement over stock (I got the red FO up front and a blacked-out rear). Sight picture is excellent. I threw an HB Industries micro comp on there too and it makes a modest contribution (10-15% recoil reduction and muzzle flip I’d say). What a nice shooter. Very accurate, utterly reliable. Not sure if I’ll get it cut for a dot. 25 yards, rapid fire.
