My gun dealer doesn't have it in stock and would have to special order it if I wanted it. In terms of compact handguns, the Glock 27 and H&K P2000SK don't fit my stubby fingers too well.

The SPringfield XD subcompact, Taurus Mil PRo and Walther P99C fit my hands really well.

Before I order it, I wanted to know whether the dimensions of the RAMI would be more in line with say the Walther compact.
Has anyone handled any/all of the mentioned guns and if so, could you elaborate on the RAMI's feel?

I can only compare mine with the Glock 27. The 26 would feel like it was going to fly out of my hands, not so with my RAMI with even the hottest of loads.

The RAMI is a chunky munky when compared to the others, but a sweetheart to shoot.

Provide some measurements of your hand. Try index finger length and from the tip of the index finger to the base of the thumb. My advice is to never purchase a handgun that you don't handle first. If the gun's frame is too wide, the reach to the trigger at extension and/or break too long or the grip angle too acute you'll never point the weapon naturally.

I love our RAMI, but it has a bit of a reach to the trigger when the hammer is down. No DA handgun should be a stretch for you to reach the trigger for that first critical shot. You may find the XD to be a better fit in that respect.
