I've had my CZ 452 Lux for almost three years now and over 10,000 rounds fired. The Lux is the same as the special/trainer/military except for the type of wood used for the stock. Mine has been great and I've let over a dozen other people try it out. Everyone's been impressed and two have went out and bought their own. Two other guys have decided that when they do get around to buying their own .22lr rifles, they are gonna get a CZ 452 as well.
My only problem is that I used it to train a newbie and now he hogs it because it's such a fun and easy gun to shoot well.
My maintenance routine is to run a dry patch thru the bore, wipe the action and bolt with a little bit of CLP, and wipe the exterior of the rifle with a silicon cloth.
The only modifications I have done to the rifle are a Brooks trigger kit and adding a military shooting sling. I zeroed the sights for the Wolf match ammo and the rear sight ladder is good for 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards. At least, that's what I tested it for since my shooting range has distances marked in yards. I didn't test it any further since I don't expect to be shooting at anything more than 100 yards away with a .22lr.
Accuracy-wise, I was getting .75" groups at 50 yards with it pretty consistantly back when I was shooting it every week (using a sandbag on a bench). I suspect the rifle is a little more accurate than that, but unless I put a scope on it, I doubt I'll get much better than .75" with consistancy.
BTW, when you sight it in, use a magnetic gunsmith screwdriver set. Hope this helps.
