Daewoo DR200 or AR-180B

AR-180. I wish they'd put heat shields in the handguards though. And yes, because it's still in production is a good reason. Not that I dislike the DR-200, they're both good guns.

The AR-180B. If money weren't an issue, though, I'd say a Daewoo K2 (the preban version of the DR200).

I would get the AR180B, the DR200 looks "awful" with the thumbhole stock or the aftermarket "ACE" stock.

DAEWOOS are gone forever and will never be imported again, so parts support or warranty work will not be available. Buying a DAEWOO is like buying a foreign car that has no replacement parts available for servicing it.

The AR180B is a good choice

While I like the Daewoo design, the parts thing is the killer. Get the AR180B... it has the same gas system the G36 and XM8 use (it's the original),with little crud and good reliability. It also handles well.

Well, the Brits took the AR-180 and made it a Bullpup that is more suitable for parading about than for taking under combat conditions. Life or death situation, I'd take the AR-180 over the British Bullpup too. Now, over the Daewoo, well, if it comes to parts, AR-180. You can make your own replacement parts with a hacksaw and file.

Although I really like the Daewoo design and quality manufacture, I would agree about parts availability problems. I looked at getting one also but opted not to. I have an AR180B and haven't regretted the decision.

I like them both for different reasons. If picking one, I would go with the 180B, if for no other reason than parts/service support.
