Dan Wesson Barrel?

Hi, I just purchased a Dan Wesson 744. It has 6" and 8" barrels, but I would really like to get a 4" barrel for it. It seems to be a hard to find item. Does anyone have any ideas for where I might be able to find a used one?

Check ebay and the gun auction sites like gunbroker.com and auctionarms. I think GOA has a link to some on the bottom of thier homepage.

They are common used if you poke around a bit. You can also just order them up from DW/CZ.

I had good luck finding a dealer on eBay a few years ago who was selling out his stock. Maybe do a Google search as well. Or post here on THR..who knows?

The 4" barrel is the standard on mine. Looks and shoots great.

Oh -- And if you get the 2.5" barrel also...you are required to go buy a Pistol Pack case, target grip, patch and a belt buckle on eBay.

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes open. I don't think I'll be looking for the 2.5" barrel. I don't want to have to deal with the belt buckle!

I bought a 4" barrel for my model 15 about 2 yrs ago at a gun show. The man had plenty of DW parts. I just found his card. It might be worth a try.
