I mentioned in the thread Single action vs Double that he kept her captive as a safe queen. He said he just couldn’t bring himself to shoot it. I on the other hand have no reservations about shooting it... a lot!

My buddy was in charge of liquidating his wife’s grandfathers gun collection. The man had some exquisite firearms and that’s how my friend acquired it. Her grandfather was a Sergeant Major in the US Army. He served in WW2, Korea and Vietnam. His name and rank are inscribed under the butt of this beautiful piece and it’s an honor to own it even though I never met the man.

Wow, WW2, Korea, and Vietnam, that's incredible. Beautiful gun also.

Wow you must have done some serious weaseling to get that beautiful .44 Special custom Blackhawk!

Range report is a must; ASAP! It's been locked away for so long that you have a lot of lost time to make up for with this exquisite wheelgun!
