In Texas, if you're on private property and it ain't yours, no matter if it's posted or fenced, you're trespassing and it's now a felony to poach on private property. It's cutting down on all the trespass, but there are still those that do it.
Technically it is that way here, however a lot of times you'd get the "I'm able to hunt the property next to here, didn't realized I'd crossed over a property line." So you issue them a warning. Next time they're caught would be time to drop the hammer on them. In FL it's a felony to fire across property lines, "trespass by projectile" and it's been a felony to knowing trespass with a firearm.
