I don't see how the two articles are connected, one is about a cop who managed to shoot what she was aiming at, and the other about more anti-gun BS.

while I am happy that "Jonsey" was able to resolve the situation, i am amazed by the praise she is receiving for her "good aim". The perp must have been holding his .44 with both hands and pointing in her general direction in order for her to shoot both of his hands. Also, it is said that one of the other shots hit the door handle which caused the door to jam shut. This sounds like a stray shot to me. When your concentrating on hitting an armed perp, the last thing you would be thinking of is some Annie Oakley trick shooting.

That being said it is great that the robbery/ murder was foiled. That being said, I would have liked it more if it was foiled by someone with concealed carry =)

Yes... Boss Bloomberg has no quarrels with having what amounts to a virtual standing army (aka: the NYPD) at his command. But heaven forbid us lowly serfs dare to defend our meager existence.

The LEO wasn't any great marksman, just lucky she connected with a couple of shots and that the perp was a lousy shot so that didn't get shot in the process. I'll give her credit though for standing her ground.

As for Bloomberg, he's just a anti-gun nut with too much money!
