That's a lot of airgun for the $$$ Daina has been building/selling quality airguns for decades.

thanks a lot...I needed another air rifle like I needed another holein my head... but for 182.00 nib to my door I could not help it... :)

This is a uncommon, fancy, upper end Diana that is only being imported by
Airguns of Arizona. At $185ish shipped, it could be used for years and probably be resold for more than the original purchase price. It is being sold for a truly incredible price.

Please notice that this is for the rifle only and no scope and mount is included. Just a warning , though; cocking effort is quite high for an air rifle that only puts out 12 foot pounds of energy.

Hi TallPaul, I remember you from the old Yellow Airgun forum: hope you're doing well. It is a shame they don't have any of these air rifles in .22.

I really miss the old yellow forums! There were some great guys on there! These are cheap enough a guy could likely rebarrel one of these to .22 :)

Well I got mine today- its a keeper- the shroud/underlever holder is metal- the trigger guard and trigger are likely plastic but well executed- I liked ot enough I talked the neighbor into one and ordered another- too good of a deal to pass up and AOA was great to deal with... I had a small issue and they more than made it right! Thanks Chris!

I had bought the mount and I threw a bushnell dot on her just to shoot it a bit in the basement... after sighting in she is shooting very nice... she feels nice... could likely benefit form a proper lube and greasing but is shooting good as is. I don't think you will touch this gun for sub 200.00 anytime soon!

Damn you,he says[as he's filling out his order for one].........
you should have just ordered the second one now- a lil cheaper to ship two-per gun anyhow :p They wont last much longer at these prices and I bet they develop a cult like following for the value for the dollar :p

I got the additional two I ordered... just gave the neighbor kid his... they are nice Aren't they :)

I have the Diana 460 22. Custom soft tuned by MZ with a Macarri Spring Kit.. Terrific rifle. Here is a good article I found about the difference between the 430 and the 460. The price AOA is selling them for will not last long. Not much money for such a quality rifle. I believe they discontinued the 430 so that may be for the very low price. But it is a steal of a bargin.

The 46o is a bigger gun altogether- larger main tube n longer stroke etc... the 430L was the brainchild of the factory workers and was never meant to make the states since we Americans are known for "high power" wants etc but I am glad tha AOA brought these in myself. A 7-800 .177 pellet gun usually shoots great.

I think for the money this is hard to beat even untinkered with. I did email ARH/JM about a tune kit for this and he says he has not looked into them "yet" Hector Medina has led the way with these and has had a couple articles regarding the 430l that I read before ordering the first one I got. I need to ask or look n see if vortek is offering a kit for the 430L yet?

I think if i was gonna pay 600.00 for a 460 I would just get a TX200 or a HW97 but I was thinking the right deal on a 460 in .22 for full power would not be left behind if I had the money when I saw it :)

These are my second Diana's... I had a Diana/RWS 75 I got and had rebuilt that I liked and shot REALLY well but let go because I was not comfortable thinking about rebuilding it myself if it ever needed it again... a long shot but I hear a FWB 300 is fairly easy to rebuild and thought I would get one of those but a FWB 601 showed up about that timeand I grabbed it... the right deal on a 300 has not caught me yet :p

The 460 at full power was a bear to cock. Yea, Man it had power. I cold here it clobber a pine tree at 100 yds. I doubt Vortek will make a Spring Kit for the 430. I think he has one for the 460. FYI, my R7 has the Vortek kit. In fact the first one made. Vortek used my Santa Rosa as the gun to developed the kit. Still we are talking about the 430 and the crazy low price. You cannot beat that. And let us not forget the wonderful Diana Model 34. My first foray into higher end Springers. And again that one tuned by MZ.
Want a nice gun right out of the Box. The Walther LGV is incredible. Super accurate and so sweet to shoot. The cousin LGU has been used in many field and bench rest competitions.

If Vortek does have a kit, jump on it. He does fantastic work. He had my R7 for 6 months when developing the gun. Never heard from him, almost got worried. Then at Christmas, a box arrived. A R7 with a new super smooth Vortek kit. Increased FPS and much more quiet on a already quiet gun. He even reblued the rifle. I sent him a Beeman C1 as a Gift.

I ordered a vortek tune kit for the diana 430... we will see if it works on the 430L or not... or see if it can be modded...

Looking forward to your review. If you ever need Advice, Tom at Vortek is very easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. I remember when he first started out. His kits are now well known through the Airgun Communities here in America and as well as across the choppy seas. Great Product. If you run into a jam, or need advice call him.
Again, that is a super Price. Great find!

Ps be sure and get some time in with gun before adding the kit. It will be so satisfying to to feel the difference.

I got mine last week. I'm not quite so inclined to tear it apart til I shoot it a while. Waiting on a droop compensated scope mount right now. Fit and finish are spot on.

Grabbed a scope off another air rifle and added the droop compensating mount. Shot in my basement[raining outside] at 29 ft with CHP 7.4s.

well I git my 430l tune kit from Vortek... put it in and WOW.... It is just a solid thud now.... I want to tear her down and take a coil or two off of the spring one of these days. This gun is awesome now... I think a lil softer will be even better. mine is shooting nice but I only have a red dot on it for now.

Your welcome
Jeb- I have known of Vortek for a long time.. Have em in a pro sport... wont be my last... I have heard of a new product he is introducing shortly that is gonna be a game changer ! I cant wait. I did not know I needed one until he was tellin me about it! :D :D
