I made B in USPSA production over the weekend?

Now I'm going to have to learn how to shoot!

Nice.
Did you gradually creep up on the overall B over several years, occasionally shooting Bs on some stages, and usually Cs and Ds on others?
Or are you experiencing a sudden breakthrough?

Tell us more...

I was C for a very long time. When i first moved to Indiana, I didn't compete at all, but I still shot regularly ( I shoot at work fairly often). Last summer a co-worker sucked me back in.

I always had a few B classifiers, but never enough in a row. This weekend I went to a classifier special match, and except for a 39% (stupid no-shoots) and a 59.5% every other classifier I shot was easily a B, including one that was up around 75%.

I honestly think the biggest contributor was another shooter telling me that I moved and shot like an A shooter a few weeks ago.

Of course, I acheived my shooting goal for the year in February, so I guess I can just kick back for the rest of the year

Go to Brian's forum and sign up in the race to A class thread.

I'm still unclassified in Production but only have one classifier to go and should make B unless I choke. Once I do that I'm going to follow along in the thread so I have other people to push me along.
