dillon spent primer fix

the 650 dumps the primers into a plastic bucket but they bounce out so this is just a better mouse trap or primer trap if you will

I built up the sides with doubled over masking tape to eliminate any gap and keep them in the cup. I use masking tape to keep them in the 1050 cup too. The fix for the delicate SD primer cup is shown in the photo below. Never have messed with a 550 though.

I build one using a piece of copper and a .308 cartridge cost $2.00 dollars,
Another trick for the unspent primer ski jump is to place a piece of tubing just on
end of the landing.

I never needed this on either my 550B or my XL650's. I am kinda surprised that anybody actually needs a fix for this.

I was getting at least 3 or more per 100 loaded rounds bouncing out on to the floor, happens with my square deal alot also. Good for you if you don't need it. Still want to know if anyone would like to buy one had a handfull of them made and would like to sell them. I originally made one (not quite this pretty) but it took two trips to the hardware staore and a couple hours total to make it so I figured this was something that reloaders would like. Any input??????

thanks

Matt
