I just sold my black epoxy finished CZ-75B to a friend who needed a good pistol at a good price.

It was very accurate and reliable. I think I may replace it with the stainless version.

Does anyone here own the stainless form, and what do you think of it? Is it as reliable as the carbon steel models? Which lube do you use on the slide rails? Does it work?

How is accuracy and overall reliability? I would at times be trusting my life and those of others to it, and I want it to WORK.

Thanks,

I have the cz 75b stainless model and I love it! My father owns the regular cz 75b which I have shot alot before I got mine. The stainless model seems a bit heaver. The stainless model in my opinon looks better and has a better overall finish, which should resist rust. I have shot 1700 rds of the cheapest ammo I could find through it so far, and have not had a single problem. I use cheap rem oil from walmart, and hoppes cleaner to clean it. It is about the same for accuarcy with me shooting both. It is one hell of a gun and it rocks! I paid 600 out the door though but I thought it was still worth it. If you like the cz 75b the cz 75b stainless is just that much better!

Stainless shoots good to me. Only thing I was a little hesitant about was the mag release. Compare the stainless and the regular (polycoat) closely and you'll notice the mag release is a little different, in addition to the fact that it sticks out a few millimeters further than the polycoat 75. Slightly annoying.

Having owned preB CZ75s and a few 75Bs over the years, including a customized CZ75SA in .40.

I've much prefer the CZ-USA customized 75B Stainless that I've owned
since April. Custom work includes:Action job by Matt Hunter and Crimson Trace lasergrips, along with CZ-USA supplied Tru-Dot real deal nites.
A Steve Bedair stainless steel guide rod completes the gun.

Other than a bobble with some older Blazer ammo from my Y2K ammo pile...
My gun has been flawless.

The Stainless model currently backs up my Mossy Mariner model 12 guage
that also features a laser.

I use Tetra lube on my guns and have had no problem.
The old problem of 'galling' with stainless steel really isn't
an issue anymore.

I just wised that someone made a stainless steel CZ magazine.

Hopefully, with the introduction of the 75B Stainless and the RAMI P
with stainless slide. We will be seeing some more stainless goodness
from CZUB in 2008.

Here is my review of the 75B Stainless if you are interested:

Most owners are just thrilled with their Stainless models.
I'd say jump on one IF you can find one.
