Do you need to undergo drug testing for a CCW?

The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States doesn't make any provision for drug testing.
The Constitution isnt what it used to be, and its soon about to get a lot sketchier. We are no longer the land of the free, other than in weak words only. If we were, we wouldnt be having a discussion on this topic, or any of the firearm "acts" for that matter.

Always wondered how that worked. Something that has grown wild since the giddy up is, but something distilled and created by man isnt
I'm willing to take a guess that drugs are far more illegal and destructive than alchohol, and that quantity control is easier.

So whats going on with you that you dislike alcohol so much?
I have nothing against drinking. Nor do I have anything against people doing drugs. There is no issue if both are used appropriately.

My point was, if your going to test for any "drug", then you have to test and restrict ALL drugs, and ALL those in any kind of authority, should be held to a higer standard than those they serve and arrest, and be tested daily for any trace. Seems fair to me.

It appears that this topic is getting awfully in the grey area and my question has been answered, so I will be locking the thread. I'm sure there's an off-topic thread waiting to be made if you wish to persue this further though.

Thanks! ;)

Edit: How do you lock your own thread?
